Black Friday 2015 gets its own Record Store Day

Black Friday takes place on 27th November this year and as well as a host of deals from pretty much every retailer you've ever heard of, independent record shops will also be getting in on the act.

The main Record Store Day (RSD) for 2015 took place back in April - and saw vinyl sales up 742% - but you'll get another chance this year to pick up some special edition vinyl on Black Friday.

The people behind RSD are promising "a huge selection of limited-edition collectibles, special vinyl releases, reissues and more" for Black Friday 2015.

The official list of releases will be made public on 27th October ahead of the records going on sale a month later in participating stores across Europe, the US and Canada.

Naturally you needn't wait for Black Friday to splash some cash on vinyl, with the organisation behind Record Store Day having launched Vinyl Tuesdays earlier this year, promising to celebrate and promote vinyl releases every week, from regular releases to rarities and reissues.

And of course if you ask us, any day is a good day to buy some new records...

Black Friday 2015 takes place on November 27th and we'll be doing our best to bring you all the best deals on hi-fi and home cinema kit, plus no doubt plenty more besides.
