At its peak, last year's Black Friday sale saw five orders every second from Currys PC World. On Black Friday itself, customers spent more than 2 billion seconds on the Currys PC World site. But it wasn't just about one day.
Currys held a marathon 10 days of Black Friday sales, including Cyber Monday (on the Monday after Black Friday, and focusing on tech products). Nearly half of all site visits were made on a mobile device, as people hit the sales from the comfort of their sofa. Remember the days when we all had to queue outside the shop and fight through a scrum of angry shoppers?
This year's Black Friday is expected to be even busier. Discounts are expected on all sorts of products, including games consoles, TVs, speakers and radios.
Currys PC World operates a Price Promise policy, to match any price from John Lewis, AO.com, Argos, Asda and Tesco. That's definitely worth considering when making your shopping list.
