HOT DEALS: Richer Sounds sale starts Boxing Day 10am

Yes, we know Christmas hasn't quite happened yet, but if you're saving up for some New Year bargains, we've had a sneak preview of what's coming up in the Richer Sounds sale, which starts on Boxing Day at 10am.

So without further ado, here's a glimpse of some of the deals you can expect:

TV BARGAINS

• Sharp LC40SH340 40-inch 1080p LCD TV, down from £279.95 to £229.95.

• LG 42LM620T, a premium 42-inch, smart, 3D LED TV with built-in Freeview HD, previously £549.95, reduced to £499.95 in the sale.

• Samsung's UE32EH500, which we've just tested, is yours for £249.95.

• Panasonic TX-P50X50 50-inch HD-Ready plasma TV at £399.95, a further £50 saving. This bargain five-star telly won the 50-51in TV Group Test in our January 2013 issue.

HOME CINEMA BARGAINS

• LG BP120 Blu-ray/DVD player, normally £59.95, sale price £39.95.

• Sony’s BDP-S490 will also be discounted to £79.95, reduced from £99.95 – "a budget disc-spinner that offers excellent picture quality," we said.

• Denon AVR-2113, a home cinema receiver that features 4K video scaling, reduced to just £249.95. Now that's a bargain!

• Sony's STR-DN1030 is reduced from £449.95 to £299.95. We gave it a five-star review and said: "This is a serious contender for class-leading status… It always takes a special AV amp to boss this £500 sector, but the Sony definitely has the sonic credentials."

HI-FI BARGAINS

• The ever-popular Denon D-M39DAB mini hi-fi system – our 2012 Systems Product of the Year – previously £249.95, will be available for £199.95.

• Mission's MX1 standmount speakers will be on offer at £99.95, down from £119.95.

Products from other leading brands including Philips, Pioneer, Marantz, Cambridge Audio, Arcam and KEF are also reduced. Richer Sounds expects demand to be high, so advises shoppers to act quickly to avoid disappointment.

“With deals this amazing we expect to be very busy. Our stores will be open longer hours throughout the Sale period to cope with the demand,” says John Clayton, Operations Director.
