McLaren's team orders shocker has handed Norris a lifeline and risked alienating Piastri

The battle between Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris has been so thoroughly absorbing that the constructors' title hasn't just taken a back-seat – it's almost passed us by entirely. McLaren will secure it for the second season running if they outscore Ferrari by nine points (and don’t lose 12 to Mercedes or 33 to Red Bull) in Baku. We'll show how to watch Azerbaijan Grand Prix live streams from anywhere in the world, including free options.

Azerbaijan Grand Prix 2025: preview
Baku City Circuit has quickly established itself as one of F1's best tracks. Not only is it beautiful, incorporating the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Icheri Sheher with its medieval city walls, the Shirvanshah's Palace and Maiden Tower, and running along the Caspian Sea shoreline, its characteristics present a serious setup dilemma.
The overtaking playground that is the circuit's extremely long main straight lends itself to drag reduction. However, Baku Old Town's narrow, twisting streets demand downforce. Too much of the former and not enough of the latter is why crashes are such a regular occurrence here.
If this weekend needed any further intrigue, we're coming off one of the strangest races of the season. Max Verstappen's first win since May was unexpected enough. McLaren ordering Piastri to let his teammate past because Norris had a clumsy pit-stop was a shocker. The intervention has narrowed the gap between them to 31 points (it would have been 37 otherwise), and risked alienating the man who's on course to secure their first drivers' championship since 2008.
