Watch Premier League 2026/27 live streams

The 2026/27 Premier League is here, with Arsenal looking to defend the title they pipped Manchester City to last season.

The Gunners are heavy favourites, and it is little surprise given their host of new additions, as well as a record nine new managerial appointments elsewhere in the division. Manchester City, Chelsea and Liverpool are among those to have made a change, while it will be no easier for other hopefuls such as Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur, who are both in the early stages of new regimes.

Elsewhere, Newcastle and Aston Villa have been ravaged by summer departures, while newcomers Coventry, Ipswich and Hull City will be hoping to secure survival.

Premier League Preview

Love them or loathe them, Arsenal's first Premier League title in 22 years has electrified the competition by spurring their rivals into drastic action. Liverpool, Man City and Chelsea each installed new managers over the summer, hot on the heels of Man Utd and Tottenham, who surely can't spend a third consecutive campaign battling the drop.

The impact of Mikel Arteta's generational dark arts isn't likely to stop. Arsenal gamed the system so effectively that referees have had to literally rewrite the rulebook in order to clamp down on play-acting and time-wasting at set-pieces, substitutions and other breaks in play. Will the Gunners alter their approach or set their sights on fresh innovations? The signing of Bruno Guimaraes feels a little like Lord Voldemort getting his hands on the Elder Wand.

Newcastle's clash with Liverpool is the standout fixture of the opening weekend, a new chapter in a storied rivalry, which will see Matthias Jaissle and Andoni Iraola take charge of their new sides for the first time in a competitive game. Both teams are coming off a decidedly patchy preseason.

New boys Coventry, Hull and Ipswich, back in the top flight after 25-, nine- and one-year absences respectively, are hoping to emulate Sunderland, who defied the odds under Regis Le Bris to qualify for Europe for the first time since 1974. Hull, incidentally, were odds-on to be relegated to League One a year ago – Sergej Jakirovic won promotion via the playoffs instead.

Up to nine teams will compete in Europe this season, including debutants Bournemouth and clubs that don't have a huge amount of strength in depth, like Crystal Palace, Brighton and the aforementioned Black Cats. That could result in a huge shift in the middle of the pack, with Everton, Brentford and Fulham amongst those that should be looking to capitalise.

Can I watch the Premier League in 4K?

In the US, NBC and USA Network show select games in 4K. Peacock supports the format, but it hasn't tended to stretch to its Premier League coverage. Cable alternatives Sling TV, FuboTV, YouTube TV, Hulu+Live TV and the DirecTV Stream are selective with what they show in 4K.

In the UK, Full HD is the standard resolution for Sky Sports' output, but you can pay £6 per month extra for 4K, while HBO Max includes access to TNT Sports Ultimate, which carries 4K coverage of Premier League games.

In Australia, select games are shown in 4K on Stan Sport, but only subscribers to the $23.99 Premium plan can access it.

When is the Premier League 2026/27 final day?

The last 10 games of the season will take place on Sunday, 30 May, 2027.
