I'm tracking all the best Black Friday TV deals in Australia – save thousands on a new screen from Sony, LG, Samsung and more
Plus, scoop up serious savings on a new soundbar
Black Friday is often one of the best times to pick up a new TV at a knock-down price. As we approach the end of the year – and look forward to the new models that will release in 2026 – Black Friday is a perfect opportunity for retailers to clear stock to make way for the next round of TVs, which are often unveiled (or at least teased) at CES in January.
On the face of it, the Black Friday sales in Australia are delivering in a big way when it comes to savings on some of our favourite TVs from this year, with thousands of dollars slashed from five-star models from the likes of Sony, TCL and LG.
If it is the best Black Friday TV deals you seek, then, be sure to follow along with my live coverage. I regularly monitor prices throughout the year, so I'm perfectly positioned to spot a great deal when I see it.
I will be updating this page regularly as we approach the official Black Friday date of Friday, November 28 and will continue through to Cyber Monday, December 1 (and potentially beyond). I've separated TVs by screen size, so if you know which size you're after, you can jump straight to the relevant section.

The best 50-55-inch Black Friday TV deals
We awarded the step-down C6K an Award for best 50-inch TV, but it's not available in Australia unfortunately. Luckily, the C7K is here to take its place. This model also won an Award, due to its incredible brightness, contrast and colour, all for a very affordable price.
Other sizes:
• 55-inch: was AU$1,699 AU$933 with Price Beat at The Good Guys
The C6K is available in a 55-inch variant, and is a true bargain at this price. As we said in our review of the 50-inch model, it "shouldn't be as good as it is for this price". It offers good HDR support, brightness and contrast, although it does miss out on 120Hz gaming support.
We didn't get a chance to review this model this year, but we have seen the higher-spec QNED93 and were suitably impressed. This model gets fewer dimming zones, so contrast won't be quite as good, but it does still get LG's 'evo' brightness boosting tech. Plus, if you add a selected LG soundbar you can save AU$300 on the full bundle.
We were impressed by the 48-inch version of this Samsung OLED (as you can read in our review) and found it to deliver a punchy picture (although only after a bit of tinkering with the settings). We do still wish Samsung would adopt Dolby Vision, but otherwise this is a great screen with flawless gaming support to boot.
The best 65-inch Black Friday TV deals
Our Product of the Year in the TVs category, the Sony Bravia 8 II is one of the very best TVs that money can buy. It exhibits an exceptionally bright, vibrant and three-dimensional picture quality, along with perfect blacks and excellent shadow detail. Turn the lights up and things can suffer a little, but overall this is Sony's best picture quality to date. Use code HOLIDAYSAVE (save AU$80) and sign up for a My Sony membership (save AU$150 with your 'welcome' coupon) to get the deal price here.
The ideal size for this talented TCL screen in our opinion, and now with a great saving when you hit the Price Beat button at The Good Guys. As we said in our TV Award round up, this is the "best large-sized budget set you can buy this year."
We confidently called the S95F "Samsung's best-ever OLED" in our review, thanks in no small part to its bright, vibrant and sharp image. As with other Samsung screens, we feel the best picture comes following some setting adjustments, but do so, and you'll be well rewarded. The anti-glare panel does a great job at banishing reflections too. Dolby Vision support would be nice, but otherwise it's tricky to fault.
Appliance Central has actually been quite modest with its list price of the superb LG G5, so I've put the real list price here. That's good news, because it makes the saving evne more sublime! This five-star stunner continues to prove why OLED is such a coveted technology, especially with the new Primary RGB panel found in this model. As we said in our review, the G5 delivers a "truly exceptional picture, with bold highlights, rich colours and crisp details"
You can also buy from The Good Guys and save a total of AU$1,000 when you bundle a selected soundbar.
Winning an Award this year for the best mid-range TV in the 55-77in category, the LG C5 is nothing short of outstanding. It serves up a superb picture and benefits from exemplary gaming support.
You can also buy from The Good Guys and save a total of AU$500 when you bundle a selected soundbar.
The best Black Friday 75-inch TV deals
If it's a truly big screen you're after, then once again I have to recommend the TCL C7K in its 75-inch guise. As with other sizes, you're getting a wonderful image and even decent built-in sound thanks to a Bang & Olufsen speaker system.
LG's Mini LED QNED range hasn't ever really had us that excited until this year when the QNED93 was unveiled. It represents a huge leap for the QNED range, delivering a boost in brightness and colour. Do note though, that all sizes except the 65-inch use an IPS panel, the 65-inch uses a slightly superior VA. I would recommend auditioning this one in store first if you can.
A previous Product of the Year Award winner, the Sony Bravia 8 II remains on sale as the largest OLED TV in Sony's lineup. The Bravia 8 II is only available in 55- and 65-inch variants. We found this TV to perform exceptionally well with colours, delivering a very natural-looking image. To get the full saving, enter code HOLIDAYSAVE (AU$80 discount) and sign up for a My Sony account (AU$150 discount).
The best Black Friday 85-inch TV deals
Another great saving on the even bigger TCL C8K. We awarded this TV four stars in our review, praising it for its outstanding brightness and full HDR support. It's great for gamers too, and at this price, it's a certified bargain.
The best Black Friday projector deals
This compact, practically-portable projector is easy-to-use and delivers a wonderfully sharp picture. It's a bit of a looker if we do say so ourselves and will be a delight for anyone wanting a more authentic cinema experience at home on a budget.
The best Black Friday soundbar deals
The Sonos Arc Ultra is the best one-box Dolby Atmos soundbar you can buy. It offers a raft of improvements over its predecessor, including some clever speaker driver technology, resulting in spectacular sound. We do wish for more HDMI inputs and DTS:X support, but otherwise, it's fantastic. Be sure to use the 'Price Check' button to get the full discount.
Samsung's current Dolby Atmos-in-a-box system continues to outmuscle the competition, delivering crisp, engaging audio, easy set-up and superb connectivity options.

Let the TV deals hunt begin
Hello and welcome to What Hi-Fi?'s live coverage of the best Black Friday TV deals in Australia. If there was ever a perfect time to score a new screen for your living room, media room or bedroom, Black Friday is it.
I've already found some incredible savings on some of the best screens that passed through the What Hi-Fi? test rooms in 2025, and I fully expect more to crop up as we approach Black Friday proper at the end of the week.
I've been tracking TV prices for a good few years now, and so I can confidently say that they do tend to fluctuate on a regular basis. That could mean that some prices drop lower, while others can actually go back up in price. So, if you see a screen you like for a price that works for you, I'd recommend adding it to your basket before it's too late.
