The middle of February is a bit of sales abyss, but President’s Day works hard to make sure there are still some great deals to be done.

And right now, Sony’s brilliant WF-C510 ’buds have even managed to secure a discount that beats out Black Friday prices.

It’s not quite the lowest price we have seen—the buds dropped below $40 briefly in July last year—but it’s certainly the best we’ve seen in a while.

The Sony WF-C510 deliver great sound with minimal fuss and as cheap wireless earbuds, that’s a very nice offering. Compact, comfortable design, Multipoint Bluetooth and 11 hours of battery life are also just some of the great features on offer. And right now, they are 31% off in the President’s Day sales.

After some cheap and cheerful earbuds that won’t cost you the earth? Consider the Sony WF-C510. There are plenty of great reasons that they’re five-star, What Hi–Fi? Award winners.

Solid, musical sound and an extensive library of features are two things you want to hear when shopping around for new earbuds. And, even at such a cheap price, Sony’s ’buds are dedicated to giving you just that.

Throw in the mighty impressive 11 hours of battery life per charge (with Ambient Sound Mode and DSEE switched off) and you’ve got yourself a great package.

Admittedly, we do find the WF-C510 look and feel cheaper than their predecessors, the WF-C500s, but when it comes to sonic ability, they are a clear upgrade. Our expert testers say: “The key at this price point is to be fun, engaging and musical, and the Sony WF-C510 deliver all this and more.”

We tested them with a range of genres and note: ”…even complex pieces of music don't unravel and their sense of timing and ability to just get into the groove of a song works with any music you play through them.”

There are a lot of features on offer, too, from Multipoint Bluetooth, to Ambient Sound Control and the ability to control playback and volume using the built-in buttons on each bud. This led our testers to say: “At this price, it’s no surprise that the WF-C510 don’t offer touch-sensitive controls, but the outer surface of each earbud doubles as a physical button. And the concept is executed well.”

Ultimately, at this price, the Sony WF-C510 earbuds don’t disappoint. While they may look and feel a little cheaper (as is the price tag), there’s a lot to be said about how comfy they are, as well as their sense of fun and musicality.

So, if you’re looking for some five-star ’buds with an epic price tag, you’re going to save yourself some cash here by picking them up for just $48 at Amazon.
