It's time to say goodbye to another Amazon Prime Day sale in Australia. The previous seven days of deals have included some of the best I've ever seen, and while many of them have now come to an end, there are still a few savings still live and ready to shop.

It's primarily headphones and Bluetooth speakers that continue to get the discount treatment. If you were hoping for savings on the likes of KEF active speaker systems or WiiM hi-fi components, then I'm afraid you're out of luck. Your next best bet would be the Black Friday sales in November.

Do note that the deals still live could expire at any moment, so if you see a price you like, be sure to snap it up while you still can.

Amazon Prime Day 2026: best deals still live

Headphones

Bose QuietComfort Ultra Headphones
Save 39% (AU$251)
Bose QuietComfort Ultra Headphones: was AU$649 now AU$398 at Amazon

Bose continues its class-leading noise-cancellation legacy with the QuietComfort Ultra headphones and backs that up with exceptional sound quality. We personally weren't too convinced by the Immersive Audio mode, but the fact it doesn't discriminate against source or streaming service means there is still plenty of appeal.

Sony WH-CH720N
Save 32% (AU$82.95)
Sony WH-CH720N : was AU$259.95 now AU$177 at Amazon

If your budget can't stretch to a pair of Sony XM6 or XM5 headphones, this more affordable option makes sensible compromises to significantly lower the price, which is even better ahead of Prime Day. The WH-CH720N are among our favourite Bluetooth over-ears at this sub-AU$200 price, with fantastic sound and noise cancellation.

Sony WH-1000XM4
Save 25% (AU$109.05)
Sony WH-1000XM4: was AU$439 now AU$329.95 at Amazon

They may now have two successors in Sony XM5 and XM6, but we still rate the Sony XM4s incredibly highly. They're comfortable, sound excellent and hold their own where ANC is concerned. We have seen them go slightly lower in price before, but this is still a good saving on what is a talented set of cans.

Sony WH-1000XM5
Save 28% (AU$153)
Sony WH-1000XM5: was AU$548 now AU$395 at Amazon

As we noted in our WH-1000XM5 review, "If you are looking for a new pair of wireless noise-cancelling headphones, your auditioning should start here." Packed with incredible sound quality, great noise-cancelling and a superb range of features. The price here is around AU$40 more than what I saw during Prime Day.

Sony WH-1000XM6
PRODUCT OF THE YEAR
Save 15% (AU$104.95)
Sony WH-1000XM6: was AU$699.95 now AU$595 at Amazon

Our Product of the Year, the Sony XM6 serve up exceptional levels of detail and a spacious sound. ANC is among the very best you'll find, too. We wish they supported audio over USB-C, but otherwise, they're sensational.

Bowers & Wilkins Px7 S3
Save 24% (AU$170.77)
Bowers & Wilkins Px7 S3: was AU$699 now AU$528.23 at Amazon

These B&W headphones are gorgeous to both look at and listen to. As we said in our review of these headphones, they "dig deep into your music, eschewing a broad or general sonic overview and instead pulling out instrumental timbres with the relentless curiosity and enthusiasm of a bloodhound on the scent of a new lead.

Sennheiser Momentum 4 Wireless
Save 49% (AU$270.95)
Sennheiser Momentum 4 Wireless: was AU$549.95 now AU$279 at Amazon

This Sennheiser Momentum 4 Wireless might have now been replaced, but they're still a stunning set of over-ears that deserve a mention. They sound great, have effective ANC, solid battery life at 60 hours and an excellent app. No wonder they scored a five-star review. The best price is on the black model.

Sennheiser HDB 630
Save 20% (AU$202)
Sennheiser HDB 630: was AU$1,000 now AU$798 at Amazon

The Sennheiser HDB 630 over-ears unearth plenty of detail and dynamism from your music thanks to an included USB-C dongle. At AU$999 RRP they're certainly an investment, but a 20% discount helps. You can read our Sennheiser HDB 630 review for more details.

Sennheiser HD 620S
Save 33% (AU$200.95)
Sennheiser HD 620S: was AU$599.95 now AU$399 at Amazon

Sennheiser's delivered something special with the HD 620S, which offer the expansive and spacious acoustics of open-back headphones in a closed-back design. This audiophile-grade pair of over-ears earned 4 stars in our Sennheiser HD 620S review, where we praised their "detailed and smooth sound".

Sony WF-C510
Save 21% (AU$22.95)
Sony WF-C510: was AU$109.95 now AU$87 at Amazon

As the winner of a What Hi-Fi? 2025 Award, it's incredibly easy to recommend the WF-C510: they're compact, comfortable, IPX4 water resistant, and serve up a delightful, balanced sound – punching well about their sub-AU$100 price tag. Their one shortcoming is that they don't offer active noise cancelling, but given they have decent passive noise isolation (like most rubber-tip equipped in-ears) that shouldn't be an issue for most people.

Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 Pro Wireless Earbuds
Save 50% (AU$200)
Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 Pro Wireless Earbuds: was AU$399 now AU$199 at Amazon

Samsung's previous set of flagship wireless in-ears are now available for a great price ahead of Prime Day. Sporting a revised design that clearly takes 'inspiration' from Apple's AirPods, we awarded the Buds 3 Pros a respectable 4 stars in our review, praising them for their bright and lively sound and strong feature set, though we did feel they might be a bit too forward and brash for some tastes. For this price though, they're an easier recommendation.

Bose Ultra Open Earbuds
Save 34% (AU$151.95)
Bose Ultra Open Earbuds: was AU$449.95 now AU$298 at Amazon

These 4-star open earbuds from Bose offer a musical and entertaining sound, while also providing a comfortable and secure fit. If you've been tempted by the prospect of open earbuds, whereby the earpiece doesn't go into the ear canal, then Bose's debut pair are worthy of consideration.

Apple AirPods Pro 3
Save 14% (AU$60)
Apple AirPods Pro 3: was AU$429 now AU$369 at Amazon

If you're an Apple user, the AirPods Pro 3 makes a lot of sense. Serving up a comfortable fit, great sound and decent noise-cancellation, not to mention seamless connectivity. The price here doesn't quite match the all-time low of AU$299 seen during Prime Day, but any saving on Apple tech is worth shouting about.

JBL Live Beam 3
Save 41% (AU$101.95)
JBL Live Beam 3: was AU$249.95 now AU$148 at Amazon

We like the smooth, easy-going sound produced by these JBL earbuds in our review. Add in the fact they have a useful, interactive case and a heap of customisable features, and you have yourself an excellent pair of in-ear headphones.

Sennheiser IE 200: was AU$239.95 now AU$199 at Amazon

These in-ear monitors will provide a stronger connection to your source devices, and can help make the most of the best headphone DACs. You’ll be rewarded with a gorgeous, high-fidelity sound. And, being Sennheiser, they’re impeccably built and are super comfortable to wear for longer sessions.

Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 4
Save 40% (AU$200)
Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 4 : was AU$499 now AU$299 at Amazon

We gave these stunning earbuds 5 stars out of 5 in our Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 4 review, praising their rich, detailed and dynamic sound and comfortable fit. ANC isn't quite best-in-class, but they still do a mighty fine job of blocking out external noise. They're simply terrific, especially at this price.

Speakers

Award Winner!
Save 20% (AU$35.95)
JBL Flip 7 Bluetooth speaker: was AU$179.95 now AU$144 at Amazon

It has gone lower in price before, but this is still a good deal on the Flip 7. currently the best deal I can find on the Flip 7. This Award-winning speaker delivers a sound packed with detail, insight and impact. JBL is so often the king of BT spekaers, and this model proves why.

JBL Charge 6 Bluetooth speaker
Save 20% (AU$44.95)
JBL Charge 6 Bluetooth speaker: was AU$229.95 now AU$185 at Amazon

This bigger, beefier JBL speaker also won an Award in 2025 for its powerful, punchy sound and it's ability to reveal great detail. We love how portable and tough it is too.

Save 20% (AU$49.96)
Bose SoundLink Flex (2nd Gen): was AU$249.95 now AU$199.99 at Amazon

If you don't need a super-tough rugged exterior, this second-generation Bose SoundLink Flex, which launched in late 2024, is a good choice. While the exterior is quite sleek compared to the UE and JBL counterparts, it's still waterproof and delivers sound with a clear and detailed midrange. It's also perfectly portable, but it's perhaps best suited to being taken outside to the pool, rather than on a full hiking trip.

Hi-Fi components

Audio-Technica Sound Burger
Save 18% (AU$75.13)
Audio-Technica Sound Burger: was AU$429 now AU$353.87 at Amazon

Sony PS-LX310BT
Save 25% (AU$100)
Sony PS-LX310BT: was AU$399 now AU$299 at Amazon

Whether you're playing via wired or wireless speakers, it delivers a delightfully musical sound that will satisfy vinyl beginners or those looking for a more hands-off approach. It has Bluetooth so can stream vinyl to your wireless speakers too.

It might be a fews years old now, but the Sony X90L is still a fantastic TV option, here in a 55-inch guide. We praised its bright, impactful picture quality in our review, and could only really fault it for having jus two HDMI 2.1 ports.

Sony HT-S100F
Save 29% (AU$71)
Sony HT-S100F: was AU$249 now AU$178 at Amazon

Despite being over 5 years old, we still reckon this already-affordable 2-channel Sony model is the best cheap soundbar you can buy in 2026 – and this 28% discount makes it even easier to recommend. While it has been a smidge cheaper (it was AU$169 for Boxing Day 2024, for example), this is still a great price for a well-built 'bar that will improve your TV's sound with minimum hassle.

Sony HT-A3000
Save 42% (AU$422.80)
Sony HT-A3000: was AU$999 now AU$576.20 at Amazon

This 3.1-channel Sony soundbar is a few years old now, but it's still a top performer, especially for the money. We gave it four stars when we reviewed it, praising it for its detail retrieval and tonal balance. Height effects aren't the most convincing we've come across, but ultimately this will work wonders to boost the sound from your TV.

Bose Smart Ultra soundbar
Save 37% (AU$549.05)
Bose Smart Ultra soundbar: was AU$1,499 now AU$949.95 at Amazon

In our Bose Smart Ultra Soundbar review, we did say it struggled dynamically compared to some other models, but it still offers an expansive sonic presentation, and it's built to an incredibly high standard. This 37% discount makes it a lot easier to recommend.

Sony Bravia Theatre Bar 6
Save 11% (AU$100)
Sony Bravia Theatre Bar 6: was AU$899 now AU$799 at Amazon

This mid-range Soy Dolby Atmos soundbar + sub package earned four stars in our review, due to its ability to easily fill a room with weighty, bass-y sound. It's not the last word in detail or subtlety mind you, but if it's sofa-shaking performance you seek, this will do nicely.

This mini home projector from Anker can display images up to 120 inches in size, with 200 ANSI lumens of brightness. It's portable too, offering up to 2.5 hours of battery life. It didn't score that highly with us, but we appreciated its ease of use and its SDR performance. The saving here is thanks to an extra 30% off at checkout.

Anker Nebula Mars 3
Save 44% (AU$1,100)
Anker Nebula Mars 3: was AU$2,499.99 now AU$1,399.99 at Amazon

It did go slightly lower in price during Prime Day, but this is still a good price on the Nebula Mars 3 projector. It serves up great brightness levels for a portable model, although you'll benefit most from watching at night.

Sony Bravia Theatre U
Save 40% (AU$200)
Sony Bravia Theatre U: was AU$499 now AU$299 at Amazon

Something a little different now, the Bravia Theatre U. As we found in our review, this neckband-cum-speaker delivers genuinely good sound. It's a little fussy to set up and we wish there was more bass, but if you want to try this personal audio device, this is a great price to do so.

Amazon Prime Day Australia FAQ

What is Amazon Prime Day?

Amazon Prime Day is Amazon's bi-annual sales event, conceived in response to other major sales such as Black Friday. It began in 2015 as a celebration of the retail giant's 20th anniversary. While other online retailers get involved in the Black Friday bargain bun fight, Prime Day is generally all about Amazon, though you might see other retailers lowering prices at the same time in order to jump on the sales frenzy bandwagon and stay competitive during that period.

Prime Day is a big sale that encompasses most areas of the Amazon site – as well as audiovisual gear, you'll find discounts on toasters, books, clothes, and pretty much anything that Amazon sells. And that's a lot!

You'll need to be a Prime member to take advantage of the best offers. Not yet a member? Amazon’s free 30-day Prime trial gives you the option to sign up, bag a few bargains during the sale, and cancel your membership without paying a cent. Go you.

Prime Day 2026 dates: when is Prime Day in Australia?

The Big Smile Sale was the first Amazon sale of the year, and it showed up in March, running for seven days in 2026 from Monday, March 16 until Sunday, March 22.

The main Prime Day is set to kick off on Tuesday, July 7 and will run for seven days, coming to an end on Monday, July 13.

What Prime Day 2026 deals can I expect?

It's always tricky to confidently assume what deals will appear during Prime Day – although Amazon devices are a shoo-in – but based on previous Prime Day sales, we reckon JBL Bluetooth speakers, Sony wireless buds and Bose headphones are all safe bets. AirPods also tend to get a look in – whether or not the recently launched AirPods Pro 3 will get a discount remains to be seen

Popular items from previous Amazon Prime Day sales have included the Sony WH-1000XM5 and older WH-1000XM4 noise-cancelling headphones, Amazon Echo Show smart speakers and Fire TV video streamers, Bose QuietComfort Ultra headphones, LG, Philips and Sony OLED TVs, and plenty more five-star products across the audio and AV space.

Sonos, Sennheiser, Sony and Bose products – particularly headphones – all come up regularly in Prime Day sales, so if you have your eye on something from one of the bigger brands, there's a good chance some money will be lopped off it.

What about hi-fi? Unfortunately, Prime Day tends to spotlight more mass-market product categories such as TVs, soundbars and Bluetooth speakers for deals, meaning that discounts on hi-fi gear are far and few between. We have seen good discounts on gear from WiiM and KEF before though, so it's not completely unheard of.

While some other retailers drop their prices to piggyback the Amazon Prime events, Black Friday remains the best time of the year to buy hi-fi at discounted prices due to many specialist hi-fi retailers getting on board the more encompassing sale.

How much does Amazon Prime cost in 2026?

First things first: to be eligible for Prime Day discounts, you need Amazon Prime. This is effectively a membership fee that gives you free standard international delivery on select orders over AU$49 or free expedited delivery (in select areas) on eligible items bought from Amazon, as well as access to the Prime Video and Amazon Music streaming services (but not Amazon Music Unlimited – that costs extra), free ebooks, and the ability to share some of these benefits with others in your household.

Amazon Prime costs AU$9.99 a month, or AU$79 if you pay yearly (saving you AU$40 compared to paying monthly). Changed your mind? You can cancel your Prime membership on the Manage Prime Membership page.

And if you haven't placed a Prime-eligible order or used any of your Prime benefits within your membership, you'll be refunded in full.

There's an Amazon Prime free trial, too. Sign up, select 'Start my free trial', and you'll have access to Prime for 30 days with nothing to pay.

That means you can sign up, take advantage of the deals, and then cancel your trial before the 30 days end and not be charged your second month's fee for Prime. Not that we would condone such behaviour, of course!

To be eligible for the trial, you can't have subscribed to Prime in the last 12 months.

Prime Day Australia 2026 shopping tips

1. Sign up for the free Prime trial
If you're new to Amazon Prime, make sure you take advantage of the 30-day free Prime trial. And remember to cancel if you don't want a monthly bill for AU$9.99 when the trial ends.

2. Google a product before buying
Not every Prime Day deal in 2026 is going to be a winner, so make sure you compare prices online before you buy, and, of course, check reviews to make sure the product is worth buying at all!

We at What Hi-Fi? work tirelessly to call out the best deals on the consumer electronics categories we cover – our job, after all, is to point customers towards the best products on the market – so if we haven't included one in our deals coverage, there's usually a good reason for it!

3. Big brands can equal big savings
Amazon often slashes the cost of a few big-brand items – think Playstation and Xbox accessories, Samsung TVs and tablets, etc – to get the attention of shoppers. Keep an eye out for these 'marquee' deals.

4. Check the Amazon Warehouse
Returned goods end up on sale at the Amazon Warehouse at a decent discount, so there's a chance you could spot an open-box bargain that beats the box-fresh Prime Day price.

5. Stay tuned to whathifi.com
Amazon unleashes thousands of deals around Prime Day, which can make it tricky to find genuine bargains on five-star tech and AV. That's why we'll be publishing an up-to-the-minute list of the very best Prime Day 2026 deals.
