It's all eyes to the continent this Sunday, as the 2024 Six Nations heads to Lille for the annual clash between France and Italy. While the visitors continue their perpetual battle to avoid the wooden spoon, France will be seeking an improvement from their previous two games.

With Italy needing any rub of the green available to turn their way, coach Gonzalo Quesada will be looking to the heavens with a slight smile on his face. It's looking like a wet afternoon today in Lille, which may just disrupt the type of rugby the French were hoping to play.

Sunday's France vs Italy match at the 2024 Six Nations is free to watch on ITV in the UK and RTÉ in France. Peacock TV and DAZN and are the live streamers in the USA and Canada respectively. Down Under, it's Stan Sport in Australia and Sky Sport in New Zealand. And you can use a VPN to watch your chosen stream from wherever you are in the world.

France vs Italy live stream: Preview

The Stade Pierre-Mauroy in Lille plays host to this third round game of the 2024 Six Nations. The start time is at 3pm GMT (10am ET / 7am PT / 4pm CET) today (Sunday 25th February), which is 2am AEDT in Australia on Monday morning.

Having been convincingly defeated by Ireland on the opening night of this year's Six Nations, France got things back on track with an attritional win at Murrayfield. Yes, the Scots will claim that it was a video refereeing decision at the death that cost them, but France will hope that they turned a corner a fortnight ago in their current existential crisis without talismanic scrum-half Antoine Dupont.

As if losing Dupont wasn't enough, now Les Bleus' stand-in captain is injured, too. With Gregory Alldritt side-lined, fellow back rower Charles Ollivon leads the side and is joined by Paul Boudehent. Young second-row forward Posolo Tuilagi makes his first ever international start today.

The Azzurri have never beaten Les Bleus away from home in the Six Nations. But with the French unable to play at their Stade de France fortress while it's prepared for this summer's Olympic Games, Italy will want to take advantage. With all due respect, Gonzalo Quesada's men were never likely to trouble Ireland in Dublin last time out, but they showed real signs of quality in their three-point defeat to England on the opening weekend.

If the likes of Juan Ignacio Brex, Tommaso Menoncello and the returning Federico Mori can combine effectively, they could prove a real handful for the French defence. Martin Page-Relo is preferred to Stephen Varney at scrum-half today, with Giacomo Nicotera and Giosue Zilocchi coming in to refresh Italy's friont row.
