Prime Day (week) is here, with Amazon set to run a steady stream of discounts on headphones, speakers, streamers and more all week until Friday 26th June.

And while it doesn’t have the strongest track record with core hi-fi, based on our experience covering Amazon's past deals bonanzas, we are expecting some decent savings to appear on more mainstream audio gear.

If our predictions are right, these will range from solid discounts on five-star wireless earbuds and wired headphones to a smattering of decent savings on Bluetooth speakers and entry-level turntables.

For those after something in a stereo flavour, numerous other retailers are running separate, concurrent events, offering decent deals on more traditional hi-fi.

But, because we know not every deal is worth your hard-earned money – some products aren’t worth buying, even when heavily discounted – our expert audio team will be on hand throughout the event updating this page with the top deals they’ve spotted and recommend.

Every deal, aside from some exceptions that we’ll flag, is on a product we’ve fully reviewed and recommend. We also check the product’s price history to make sure it hasn’t been significantly cheaper in the past.

If you can’t find what you’re after on this page, or just want to ask for some advice, our experts will also be running a Prime Day 2026 Live Q&A, every lunch time (1.00-2.00 pm UK time) each day.

If you are also interested in picking up a TV or soundbar, also make sure to check out our Amazon Prime Day 2026 home cinema deals live hub.

What are the main deals we’re expecting?

When it comes to specific deals, Prime Day usually brings a wealth of decent headphone and earbuds deals on Amazon.

During past events, we’ve seen top savings on five-star Award-winning pairs from all the major players, and we’re not expecting 2026 to be any different. If you’re after something affordable, we’d recommend keeping an eye on our current Sony Award-winners: the Sony WF-C510 earbuds and Sony WH-CH720N over-ears.

If you’re after something more premium, the Sony WH-1000XM6 and Bose QuietComfort Ultra (2nd Gen) will also likely see decent discounts – though not necessarily the best we’ve ever seen, based on past Prime Day patterns.

For speakers, we’re expecting some decent deals, but be warned, these tend to be more muted during Prime Day – think 10-15% off rather than half price.

If you are shopping for proper hi-fi, also remember to check the specialist retailers, which tend to offer the best savings, and don’t be afraid to consider older models. These tend to get the biggest discounts as retailers try to clear stock. Our editor in chief, Alastair Stevenson, is keeping a close eye on the Dali Oberon 5 because of this.

A word of advice

Our team has already published a full "what to expect from Prime Day 2026” guide, where you can see our experts’ full predictions. But the short version is: we’re expecting it to be a marathon, not a sprint.

Prime Day brings a lot of deals, often on products we’ve not reviewed or don’t recommend, even heavily discounted. So we’d strongly recommend making a hit list of products in the category you’re interested in that you know will meet your needs.

For example, if you’re after a set of new wireless cans, jump to our best wireless headphones guide, or current list of Award-winners, and identify the top option for your specific needs and budget. Don’t go in blind, and grab stuff on impulse – that’s how you end up with buyer's remorse.

Armed with plenty of advice, experience, and a desire to ensure everyone gets the ideal product for their needs and system, I will be able to tell you whether a Prime Day hi-fi deal is worth the plunge or not – and recommend better alternatives for better value.

I’ve been working on What Hi-Fi? for the best part of two decades and have reviewed and written about everything you can think of, from soundbars to stereo speakers to wireless headphones. I have tested multiple generations of some of the biggest products on the market, so I’m in the perfect position to tell you whether a deal is worth snapping up or sitting on until it drops to a lower price.

I’ve been at What Hi-Fi? for almost four years, and in that time I’ve tested, rated and reviewed an absolute mountain of audio products, from turntables and wired headphones to Bluetooth speakers and wireless earbuds. I’ve also spent a lot of time hunting out the best deals possible, either throughout the year or during major sales events such as Black Friday and, of course, Amazon Prime Day. I’m no stranger to spotting a chunky discount, but more importantly, my extensive audio experience puts me in the best possible position to let you know whether a potential deal is a doozy or a dud. Deals abound for Prime Day, just remember that old saying: all that glitters is not gold.

A recent addition to the What Hi-Fi team, I come from a background in recording studios, where I often spent Prime Day scouring the internet for the best new deals on audio equipment. This year, I’ll be keeping an eye out for discounts on the What Hi-Fi? team’s favourite products, and finding any unexpected bargains that pop up along the way, highlighting the deals that are worth your money.
