With a maximum haul of 174 points still up for grabs and only 22 separating Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris, the title race is now effectively a straight shootout. And judging by the way he nudged his teammate towards the wall last time out in an uncharacteristically aggressive manoeuvre, Norris looks prepared to do whatever it takes. We'll show how to watch United States Grand Prix live streams from anywhere in the world, including free options.

United States Grand Prix 2025: preview

The past three races have been, by some distance, the worst of Piastri's season, but Norris hasn't been able to take full advantage. He's only managed to cut the Australian's lead by 12 points, a paltry return considering Piastri inexplicably crashed out on the opening lap in Baku.

Max Verstappen, by contrast, has cut the deficit to Piastri by 41 points over the past three races, and the deficit to Norris by 47 points over the past four races. The reigning champion has also shown he's got the beating of both McLaren men at both high- and low-downforce venues now, and there'a little bit of everything at the Circuit of the Americas.

Its long straights and heavy braking zones are made for overtaking. The hairpin Turn 1 not only combines both, but the approach is steep, the turn itself is extremely wide, and the downhill exit launches the drivers into a high-speed sector that has shades of the fan-favorite snaking curves at Silverstone and Suzuka, which always produce magic.
