Philips is further expanding its series of Ambilight TVs, with the introduction of six new models in 32-52in sizes. Prices range from £999 up to £2999.
We've already tested the 32PFL9632D in the current (October) issue of What Hi-Fi? Sound and Vision, and hope to test other versions shortly.
All models feature Philips's Perfect Pixel HD Engine with 100Hz Clear LCD and HD-Natural Motion technology, intended to offer improved motion handling and contrast levels.
The Perfect Pixel HD Engine uses 10-bit digital processing, said to be capable of handling up to 248 million pixels per second.
Philips claims further impressive figures: 6.2 million pixels resolution, 8000:1 contrast ratio, 4 trillion colours and a response time of just 3ms.
All sets have Full HD, 1080p panels with the exception of the 32in, which is HD-ready.
And let's not forget Ambilight, Philips's proprietary backlighting system, which now uses LED lighting technology to deliver greater colour saturation and consume less power than previous versions.
Two-sided Ambilight is used on all the 9632D models, while the 37PFL9732D uses three-sided Ambilight.
