NEWS:Spyder puts speakers on your back with NXT

Using flatpanel speaker technology from NXT, outdoor and ski-wear company Spyder has developed a backpack with built-in amplification and stereo speakers, making it just the thing for everyone from snowboarders and skiers to students and business travellers,

The company says the Spyder Groove backpack has a front panel housing stereo speakers formed from jersey-covered EVA foam, and driven by twin 25mm exciters powered by an onboard stereo amplifier.

The backpack is designed to be connected to iPods and other MP3 players, and will sell for around £90 when it hits the shops this Autumn.
