Amazon Prime Day is still a weekend away (it kicks off midday on Monday 16th and runs through until the end of Tuesday), but the retail Goliath is already teasing us with a ‘sneak peek’ at the deals we can look forward to - and it’s good news for anyone in the market for a new TV, projector and/or pair of headphones.
Amazon has revealed it is set to offer up to 30% off TVs 'from LG, Sony, Toshiba and more’, projectors 'from Epson, Optoma, LG and Sony’, and 'Sennheiser, Bose and Sony' headphones.
Amazon hasn't let slip on any specific models, but the generous 30% discount and name-dropping of big brands certainly has us rubbing our hands together - as does the prospect (fingers crossed) of even bigger savings across more hi-fi and home cinema brands.
More after the break
Amazon has also lifted the lid of some specific Amazon product deals. The Prime Day price of the Fire 7 Kids Edition Tablet will be £59.99 (down from £99.99), while the Fire HD 8 Kids Edition Tablet will also receive a £40 price drop - the Prime Day price is £89.99.
But don’t forget, to participate in Prime Day and get your hands on these deals, you need to be an Amazon Prime member... or you could always follow this simple trick to get Prime deals without paying for Amazon Prime.
For the uninitiated, Amazon Prime Day is Amazon's take on Black Friday. While every online retailer gets involved in the now -nnual Black Friday bargain bun-fight, Prime Day is all about Amazon.
It’s set to take place on Tuesday July 17th, with the first Amazon Prime deals set to be released at midday on Monday 16th.
And this year it will be running in the UK, US, Spain, Mexico, Japan, India, Italy, Germany, France, China, Canada, Belgium, Austria, Australia, Singapore, Netherlands and Luxembourg.
