Fortunately, the saving is across three colours; Black, Midnight Blue and Silver. So, if you're in the market for some superb headphones, this Sony deal is pretty excellent.
The Sony WH-1000XM5 have held their spot as the best wireless headphones for a long time (although the brand new XM6 will have something to say about it).
We recommend them regularly, but we're super keen to shout about them when there's a huge discount to be had – and thanks to Memorial Day, there is.
When it comes to performance-per-pound value, the XM5s are excellent. With impressive sound quality, punchy delivery, an impressive feature set and a substantial 30 hours of battery life, there's plenty of reasons to call these a five-star pair.

Bluetooth Multipoint and LDAC Bluetooth are also supported alongside compatibility with Sony’s LDAC technology, which allows streaming of high-quality audio from compatible devices at bitrates higher than conventional Bluetooth.
It's not entirely surprising that the XM5's are sporting a discount given the Sony WH-1000XM6 have recently launched, but a discount as good as this is hard to beat.
