NEWS: Roberts launches Concerto for the visually impaired

The latest model from Roberts has been designed to make life simpler for visually impaired listeners.

The new Concerto, which sells for £195, has the company's CD Bookmark function, which enables users to find their place in 'talking book' discs, audible tuning and beeps to confirm station and preset memory selection.

Developed in association with the British Wireless for the Blind Fund, the Concerto also has an easy to read display with zoom function, and high-visibility yellow controls.

It offers DAB and FM tuning, and can record to both cassette and SD card, the latter being able to store up to eight hours of audio.

It can be purchased direct from the BWBF, which also provides sets on free permanent loan to registered blind and partially sighted people in need.
