There's some excellent Memorial Day weekend deals already live across huge retailers.

And when it comes to securing a wonderful new wireless Bluetooth speaker, we've got a super saving to tell you about.

For just $87 at Walmart, this is one of the best prices we've seen on the JBL Flip 6 which would've once set you back $130.

While this price is for the Black model only, the other colors range from just $90 to $99. All great prices for this five-star speaker.

The JBL Flip 6 is a rugged, portable, wireless Bluetooth speaker which we praised in our full review for continuing "to set the standard for the price" – and now it's even cheaper. With this speaker, you'll get punchy bass for its size, a useful equaliser feature and improved clarity and sonic precision amongst a packed out spec sheet.

We'll happily recommend the JBL Flip 6, despite the newer gen JBL Flip 7 now being available. Why? Well, because it's a five-star speaker and right now it's also a fraction of the price.

This burrito-shaped portable speaker is absolutely still here and still excellent. And because of the JBL Flip 7's launch, you'll find some great discounts on it that will beat out a lot of the alternatives at this level.

It's not just the price that's alluring here though, but its impressive spec sheet and stellar sound packed with some serious bass making it an excellent buy.

Feature-wise, it's got an impressive dust- and waterproof IP67 rating, the JBL Portable app that can locate other JBL Partyboost-enabled speakers to connect to, Bluetooth 5.1 and 12-hours of battery life that'll last those long days of summer.

In our review, we said: "The sonic upgrades in terms of clarity and breadth across the frequencies are easy to spot, and if you want more from the midrange and less from the treble, say, you can tweak it in the app. For a nominal price hike over the launch price of the Flip 5, there’s certainly more detail here, too."

If you're umm-ing and ahh-ing about a portable wireless speaker, then this $87 deal at Walmart is a pretty strong contender to make you settle your mind once and for all.

While it's $87 in Black, you'll only have to pay between $90 to $99 for the other colors, which is still a solid, but not quite as good, deal.
