Our Verdict

These Bluetooth wireless headphones from Sony really fail to impress with poor, sibilant sound

For

  • Good looks, good features, lightweight

Against

  • Poor sound - sibilance, hiss and harshness, difficult to use

We were quite impressed by Sony's first wireless headphones using Bluetooth technology, but felt they could be easier to use.

This newer model simplifies things, coming with a pre-paired transmitter that plugs into any universal-connector fitted iPod (including the iPhone).

These Sonys are also light, foldable, and feature on-ear iPod controls. A shame, then, that the sound suffers from hiss, harshness and sibilance.
