NEWS: I Am Legend out on Blu-ray and DVD from April 21st

The Will Smith box office hit I Am Legend is released on Blu-ray and DVD on April 21st by Warner Home Video. Both versions include the much-hyped alternative ending.

The two-disc DVD release also introduces a new technology called 'Digital Copy' to the UK, which enables people to download the complete film from the DVD disc to their PC.

And the second DVD disc includes more than 90 minutes of bonus content, revealing how the film was made and shot in New York City.

Directed by Francis Lawrence, I Am Legend is a post-apocalyptic sci-fi thriller adapted from the novel by Richard Matheson.

Set in New York, it follows the struggle of army virologist Robert Neville who is one of the last survivors on earth following the spread of a man-made and incurable virus around the globe.
