Jumping Jack's stereo
That all looks the business.
Very nice. Making we want to upgrade my FB1i's to the Fact 8's too now.....
Well, it didn't take too long to sell the fb1i's. Only a couple of hours actually
So, this morning I hit the road to pick up the Fact.8! They are absolutely stunning, in appearance as well as sound. They're not broken in yet, but the level of detail and image is superb...

If it sounds as good as it looks you must be very happy. A most elegant set-up.
Chris
Very nice looking set-up!
Thank you all!
I am indeed very pleased with this setup. Not only does it look nice, it sounds great too. The boldness of the Superuniti combined with the finesse of the Fact is a match made in heaven imho. Not a setup for lovers of a kind, laidback and warm sound off course but very get-up-and-go and engaging.
And last but not least: the lady of the house aproves
(Please forgive me for any misstakes in my writing, english isn't my first language)
Your setup really speaks to me - very elegant and clean, not crazy spendy and I bet sounds all that and more! Job well done on assembling it.
BTW what are you using for the speaker bar under the flat screen?
Ravi
Thank you Ravi!
not crazy spendy? My wire disagrees
. No just kidding...
the soundbar is actually part of the flatscreen (Philips Essence 42PES0001).
I recently added a naim Powerline to the SuperUniti, after auditioning. It gives more clarity and richer bass...
Hi guys,
there are two great updates I'd like to share with you:
1. Since yesterday, I'm using a Sennheiser rs220 wireless headphone. It sounds amazing, especially for a wireless headphone!
2. The major reason I've got the rs220: I'm now the proud father of a beautiful daughter who was born monday
. We already have a boy of 2,5 years old so now we're a perfect little family
.
Many congrats on both but especially number 2!
Congratulations to you and your family.Great news
Perfect family and perfect Hi-Fi set-up...hey you must be a very happy man , indeed
Hi Jumping Jack,
Cant help feeling that some sort of electrified perimeter is needed.
I remember my curious 3 year old pulling off, then leaving teeth marks on the volume control of my then Roksan amp, sell
on value badly affected.
Enjoy it while its clean and works

Well, last year my son (now 2 and a half) did get hold of the audio technica oc9 needle... 700€ down the drain. That's the reason I got the Ginko dustcover
.
