Sadly, this is another case where a sibling fails to match a brother's greater glories.
We love the Goldring GX200s, which with their Comply buds offer great bass and all-round excellence for under £50.
These new GX100s are only slightly cheaper, but sound far more built to a budget –no Comply buds and a more compressed performance make these only average.
Save up for the GX200s, or buy the Sennheiser CX300s
