England will be keen to show the Aussies they're a threat when the 4th Test of the 2021/2022 Ashes gets underway tomorrow at 11.30pm GMT. Having lost series 3-0, Joe Root's side will be playing for pride, rather than the biggest prize in cricket.

Aussie viewers can watch The Ashes free on Channel 7 but the online live stream is available on Kayo Sports and on Willow in the US. Australia vs England is more than just a game, so make sure you know how to watch an Australia vs England live stream free with a VPN– from anywhere in the world.

The team news is in and veteran bowler Stuart Broad returns to partner Jimmy Anderson in the 4th Test against Australia at Sydney Cricket Ground. It's the only change to the side that surrendered the Ashes just over a weeks ago. Broad replaces fellow seamer Ollie Robinson who has picked up a minor shoulder issue.

As for the Aussies, top paceman and Melbourne hero Scott Boland holds his place. Batter Usman Khawaja replaces Travis Head who tested positive for Covid –  the only change for Pat Cummins' side.

After a "chastening" nine-wicket defeat to Australia at the Gabba in Brisbane, England slumped to another defeat in the 2nd Test. The jig was up in the 3rd Test when a dismal England lost by an innings, handing the urn back to defending holders Australia.

Despite talk of Joe Root's captaincy coming to an end, England will want to put on a good show.

"Everyone knows what they need to get motivated, or they should know what they need to get motivated," Root told reporters at the Sydney Cricket Ground. "You know what you need to deliver, you should know how to get the best out of yourself and your teammates."

The 4th Test starts at 11.30pm GMT on Wednesday 4th January 2022 (10.30am AEDT on Thursday). Read on to find out how you can watch an Australia vs England live stream from wherever you are in the world.

Watch Australia vs England live stream from overseas using a VPN

Even if you have subscribed to the relevant Australia vs England rights holders, you won't be able to use them when outside your own country. The service will know your location based on your IP address, and will automatically block your access.

A Virtual Private Network (VPN) helps you get around this obstacle. A VPN creates a private connection between your device and the internet, such that the servers and services you’re accessing aren’t aware of what you’re doing. All the information passing back and forth is entirely encrypted.

There are many VPN providers out there, with some more reliable and safe than others. As a rule, we’d suggest a paid-for service such as ExpressVPN which offers a 100 per cent risk-free money back guarantee. If you're not happy with the service any time within the first 30-days, then you can cancel with no penalties at all.
