Tribit's latest wireless earbuds aim to bring a considerable stack of features – including active noise-cancelling – to a more budget-friendly price point.
The new FlyBuds C3 cost less than £50 / $40, yet they promise a feature set that Tribit hopes can surpass the Award-winning Sony WF-C510 (tested at £55 / $60 / AU$110).
Before we get to that, the new FlyBuds C3 promise high-quality audio from their 10mm drivers. Each bud also packs a six-microphone array and AI-powered noise reduction for handling voice calls, with Tribit promising clear call quality which spotlights human speech while filtering out background noise.
Noise-cancelling is on board, something we wouldn't always expect to find from such a budget-friendly pair of buds. The FlyBuds C3 offer standard ANC alongside a transparency mode for keeping you more aware of your surroundings when you're on the go.
Tribit's latest delivers up to eight hours of playback from the earbuds, dropping to six hours with ANC switched on. Those numbers rise to 35 hours of standard playback with the charging case in play, or 25 hours in total with noise-cancelling on.
Customising your experience is done via the Tribit app, from which you can access 10 preset equaliser modes, a fully customisable EQ, and an 'XBass' toggle for granting a bit of extra low-end punch.
You can also manage your Bluetooth Multipoint connections for switching easily between two devices, or toggle the buds' low-latency mode if you want a smoother, more responsive experience for gaming or watching videos.
Tribit has vowed to prioritise wearer comfort from its new buds, with the FlyBuds C3 weighing in at just 4 grams, making them even lighter than their 4.6-gram Sony WF-C510 rivals. They're also IP55 rated, meaning they can handle sweat, light rain and dust particles without much fuss.
The Tribit FlyBuds C3 are available now in black or white finishes, with an official RRP of £50 / $40 / €50.
