I was looking at the Beyerdynamic website and found that you can customise the colours of a few models. They look really funky but at the moment the option is limited to DT880, DT990 and T50p.

Here is the scheme that I chose... Mmmm black and red Smile

Did you look at the new 'custom' headphones - the ones that are tunable with sliders and etc.?

Do you mean the 'Aviation' ones with microphone and adjustable noise cancelling that cost 800 Euros?

I intend to get one of these ASAP - they have to be much better than the DTX300p. I had 4 of those, all of them broke where the earpiece joins the headband. http://eastern-europe.beyerdynamic.com/shop/media//datenblaetter/DAT_DTX...

No not yet, still highly tempted. I was going to wait and see if I could get any review samples from Beyer's UK distributor but I haven't got any reply from them yet. If they will send me stuff I will wait to hear what they sound like as maybe that will influence my decision. I am still hovering between some custom DT990s and, if I can sell all the DACs that I am not using any more, an Audiolab M-DAC.
