Samsung Galaxy S2 - Sound Output

I have a Samsung Galaxy S2 for my sins and use Spotify on it for music.
I currently play music from it via a 3.5mm to 3.5mm or a 3.5mm to Phono but is this the best way in terms of quality?
Is there a better quality connection via the micro usb?
If not what is the best 3.5 to phono cable I could purchase?

HDMI output is possible. Then the quality would depend more on the DAC.
I don't think there are other digital out options at the moment.
