Denon AH-D2000 review

These are sumptuously turned-out headphones, with an ultra-comfortable, closed-back design: you can listen long (and loud) without annoying your ears Tested at £250.00

Our Verdict

These Denon's have a smooth, refined sound - maybe too smooth for some

For

  • Comfortable, good looks, great detail, smooth sound

Against

  • Possibly too refined for some people

These are sumptuously turned-out headphones, with an ultra-comfortable, closed-back design: you can listen long (and loud) without annoying your ears or others.

They sound smooth and detailed, if not – understandably – as airy as open-backed rivals.

But there's a lack of grit or grind where needed – if you love raucous rock, rap or R&B, these are just a bit too refined
