British tennis sensation Emma Raducanu was aiming for more clay court success in the women's draw but she retired injured against Bianca Andreescu. Defending champion Iga Swiatek, who blew Karolina Pliskova away in straight sets to win her maiden Italian Open trophy, remains favourite.
