It was 2005 when we first set eyes on the original incarnation on the KEF 'eggs' speaker system. We liked them then, and thanks to a few tweaks along the way, they've kept at the front of our thoughts when recommending compact, stylish speaker systems.

This latest 2005.3 still doesn't see the need to make wholesale changes – and why would it – so they retain their familiar style and design. But has the sound quality kept ahead of the pack? Read our review here to find out...
