What vinyl are you listening to?
Should we have a “what vinyl are you listening to” thread in this section?
Anyone got any thoughts and want to start it off.
Or would WHF prefer us to carry on using the other one.
It might be an opportunity to also see what’s available

Thaiman:my in law was crying listen to this in my system yesterday! To be honest whatever I play in my house all of my X-Factor loving family start to cry. Anyways, I'm having a Rush Sunday morning..
At the moment listening to a 1966 King and Roulette mono album from Sam and Dave. Unplayed for many years but I have just purchased an original Rega Planar 3 and with a service and new belts sounds fantastic.I must say its a big thanks to the posters on the turntable forum that inspired me to go back to vinyl. It beats digital hands down
Last Wednesday; the first 3 records I could reach from my stashed away collection to check that my old Dual 505-2 deck was still functioning before part exchanging it yesterday at Unilet Sound & Vision for a Michell GyroDec with TechnoArm (I blame Bretty for this, his new found enthusiasm for vinyl is sooooo infectious ). Unfortunately, I need to add another wall shelf before I can put it all together, so my next bit of vinyl listening is likely to be in a week or two .
The Toto was a £2.99 Charity shop purchase and in excellent nick. They had a Melanie double album for £8.99. No idea what as they only Melanie song I know is Ruby Tuesday so I left that alone. My BJH copy is getting old and perhaps needs replacing.

gbhsi1:I am currently listening to Montrose- self titled album ''Montrose''. Rock 'n Roll all the way! and picked it up for £5.60 Another class album. I'm sure I saw Montrose when they supported the Rolling Stones back in 73/74. My memory is a bit hazy these days .
Check out the Arcade Fire Suburbs thread for my thoughts!
Sorry about the cover I could not find a pic without CD on it. I definately listened to it from LP, a recent charity shop purchase.

A bit late I guess but I have just bought a USA copy on Brunswick of That"ll be the day" by The Crickets which of course includes Buddy Holly.I might be a bit biased but this makes most current pop sound like the dross that it is!!
