How would that work then? I'm not sure what the point of a wireless soundbar would be - if it's next to the TV, why not just plug it in? Or have I missed the point?
Things will never be the same again
I'm sure more will become clear after the SONOS press launch due this week. Until then, anything else is pure speculation...
And the FCC submission was leaked a good few weeks ago, it's been mentioned on here before.
No signature worth mentioning...
I'd be surprised if it included a subwoofer, given Sonos already sell their dedicated SUB.
But that's the best kind silly!
Where do people hear about this stuff?!
Any idea when the press release it due? Best just to keep an eye on here/the sonos site?
Sharp 46" TV, Yamaha A1010, AE Evo2's along the front and QAcoustics 1000i's at the rear. BK Gemini Mk2 sub.
PS3, 360 and Wii for gaming.
Music and radio via a laptop, NAD C320BEE and some old Kef Cresta 2's presently.
We were with Sonos last week, and will bring you all the details just as soon as they're released.

Were you impressed?
I'm sure the WHF team will share their thoughts as/when any official release is made.... Non-disclosure agreements are in place until then!
Yes, conflicting rumours online. I agree that the current sub is likely to complement the soundbar. Maybe you can use Playbar as the centre speaker, & Play:3s for a 3.1 or a 5.1 configuration!
Yes, I was just teasing Clare - I thought one of you might be too excited and blurt it out!
PS: Pancake day tomorrow!
Now unembargoed – or is that disembargoed? Anyway, Sonos Playbar details here
Hurrah - finally the end of the NDA I signed in August 2011!
