Imp Audio Silver Knight Executor Digi review

Beefy, breezy cable with plenty of composure Tested at £120.00

Our Verdict

Beefy, breezy cable with plenty of composure – far from cheap, though

For

  • Powerful low-end
  • spacious and natural

Against

  • Messy top-end
  • expensive

Few are the home cinema systems that find themselves in need of a £120 digital coaxial interconnect. But if you've paid more than two grand for the two items you're joining together, this Imp Audio cable is a contender.

Linking a DVD player to a receiver, it delivers a chunky, forceful sound with plenty of low-end grunt and grip. Presentation is spacious and natural – though the top end could be cleaner – and pricier set-ups will feel the force of this Imp's personality. Beefy, breezy cable with plenty of composure – far from cheap, though.
