Despite their smart and comfortable design, the Beyer DT660s are hamstrung by their flimsy , plastic feel.
Plug them in, however, and you get a punchy sound full of insight. Reacting well to all styles of music, the '660s get to grips with dynamics, and the detailing is very capable, but it's the loose bass and thin treble that lets the side down.
