It's almost impossible to fathom how much of a huge sound the iH19 produces. This neat unit houses your iPod within, offering complete protection against poor weather and the occasional accident.

But it's the sound stakes that matter more to us. And, frankly, it's a bit disappointing. Yes, it sounds huge, but it's poor; the dynamics are almost non-existent, there's a lack of detail, and the presentation sounds compressed.

Worth a look, but you can do better.
