Best Speakers
Slightly implausible to use 'Best Speakers' as a header given the question that supposedly went with it!
Let's be kind...
After reading some of your posts I can honestly say most of you sound like Idiots and probably listen to Jefferson Airplane or Mungo Jerry or some such EDITED. Maybe if you some of you pull your head out from your EDITED you could hear your speakers better! FYI: £300 tops, that all you need.
Thank you and good bye.
Superb, BasilSeven, superb! Stick around, we need someone like you to help us out of our own EDITEDs!
I'm with JJ. It must have been a cunning AVI coven conspiracy. Especially as AVI owners came up with some sub-£300 recommendations.
At least with sticking ones head up ones own dark oriface it keeps your hair nice and glossy. Or is that rubbing in chicken do-do?
I think someone has had some entertainment at our expense. Thank you so much OP.
Funny as it is, I don't think the OP can try to reclaim the thread, considering he didn't bother checking what he'd posted origInally.
The best sub £300 computer speakers? Well that's obviously got to be the ADM9's.

You could just buy 15 alacrity audio tweeters.
Or maybe 1/10th of an ADM40.
Which tenth?
You could set up a time share deal with ten other people. That way you can have the best computer speakers in the world for five weeks a year for just £300 each.
You'd have to fight over how you split up the remaining 14 days tho. Plus transit times.
Well, does it really matter ?
If they are 1000x better than anything else, - they'll still be 100x better, even then.
Yes, but a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush.
You'd have to fight over how you split up the remaining 14 days tho. Plus transit times.
Just like walls
I'm sure the ADM40s would benefit from relaxing for those 14 days. I'm sure it would increase the black level.
Mmm, 2 weeks of extra inkiness.

WELL! - at least it's good to hear that the likes of the Lyngdorf-Steinway system, or the Bosendorfers, let alone MBL Radialstrahlers aren't in contention for the 'best' speaker award....
