hi guys , am interested in anyone who owns a RX-V1900 and there experience with its operation and sound , ive had mine a couple of years now and am still very happy with its sound   , thanks to the dmp-bdt300 and dual hdmi outputs am able to make use of 3d. I suppose the GUI is archaic but think this amp rocks. your thoughts about an upgrade , strengths or weakness's...thanks guys beauty, eh

I don't feel the need to upgrade just as yet. It's brilliant. If at all I go for a 3D TV, I'll probably upgrade then, or go for a blu ray player with twin HDMI outs.

appreciate that , i can say that im running a 3d plasma and the dual output bluray player is the way to go before the upgrade i reckon , seems to tick more boxs than not and sounds fantastic ... beauty, eh

For 3D. Older receivers do not pass 3D. Twin HDMI blu ray players can send audio to the receiver, & 3D video directly to TV.

i got myself the rx-v1800 2nd hand now which im liking a fair bit. not a huge shout over my rx-v2400 tbh
