NEWS: Affordable streamer makes internet radio easy

New from Freecom is this slick little wireless audio unit, the MusicPal. Selling for less than £100, it can stream both MP3 files from your computer and internet radio services, and has a built-in speaker for truly portable use anywhere in the house or garden.

Compatible with both PCs and Macs, it can connect via its built-in wireless networking or can be connected with an Ethernet cable, and as well as its onboard speaker and amp, has a line audio output to connect to a hi-fi system. It measures just over 26cm wide, and weighs 600g.
