Cogworks has announced a limited-time ‘Distributor Sale’ of hi-fi and home cinema equipment with some big discounts on items that include ex-demo and clearance items.
The distributor is based in Yatala, Queensland, with a clear focus on home cinema as well as hi-fi, so that the discounted item include Severtson screens, Sovereign cinema seating, even Intertwine cinema carpets, with the listed prices showing up to 75% discount on recommended prices.
For example there are (currently) screens available in 2.4:1 ratio at 127-inch diagonal and 141-inch diagonal, at 2.39:1 ratio at 141-inch, and at 16:9 ratio at 175-inch. Example price reductions include the 141-inch screens both reduced from RRP $8699 to $3699 and $3999; the 175-incher drops from $11,299 to $3999.
We say 'currently' because many of these are single items available from limited distributor stock, and they are available strictly while stocks last, says Cogworks, noting this as “a one-time opportunity to secure world-class home cinema equipment at prices that will not be repeated.”
We can see no indication on the list of products as to which are ex-demo, so we suggest you speak with Cogworks to obtain clarity before purchase. The sale ends on 20 February or when sold out, whichever is the earlier.
Meridian speakers, Artnovian acoustics
For hi-fi fans the big draw may be a wide range of Meridian’s speakers at discounted prices, along with Artnovian acoustic treatment panels which can prepare your room for such performance levels.
So if you have thought the Meridian Ellipse streaming speaker was a little pricey at $4999, now you can pick one up for $2699.
Or if you’ve long fancied a pair of custom Meridian DSP 9 active loudspeakers, you can now cut their $135,999 retail price down to $89,000.
Again we say there is limited stock, and to check ex-demo versus clearance status. You can click here to access Cogwork’s list of Distributor Sale products.
