Goldring GX200 review

They were a favourite of ours, but rivals have overtaken these stylish buds Tested at £50.00

Our Verdict

Compared to rivals, these buds lack verve

For

  • Crisp, coherent, detailed

Against

  • Strident treble, lack of verve and punch

In a striking metallic blue finish these buds are redolent of a 1974 Cortina MkIII, although we liked them enough to give them five stars in October last year.

Time has not been kind though, and whilst the well-built 200s are crisp, detailed and cohesive, the strident treble and lack of verve compared to others at this price mean they lose two stars here
