Go!View, the video-on-demand service for Sony's PSP provided by BSkyB, officially launches in the UK and Ireland today

Go!View, the portable video-on-demand service for Sony's PSP, officially launches in the UK and Ireland today. This follows a Beta trial of the service released earlier this year.

From today PSP owners will be able to view TV shows, movies and sports on the move. A free 30-day trial of all three Go!View subscription packs is available to all PSP users so they can try the service before signing up.

Users can transfer content they wish to view from an internet-enabled PC to their PSP.

They can choose from TV shows such as Heroes, Desperate Housewives and The Mighty Boosh, a wide selection of movies and sporting highlights such as Barclays Premier League football from Sky Sports.

Go!View is a joint venture between Sony Computer Entertainment and satellite broadcaster BSkyB.
