Find the lowest prices on these high-scoring headphones
The Sony WH-1000 series has consistently ranked among our best wireless headphones, and the latest model, the WH-1000XM6, are no different. Sony's latest flagship over-ears have received full marks across the board, and a coveted What Hi-Fi? Award, so it's safe to say our testers were impressed.
They're one of our go-to headphone recommendations – if your budget can stretch that far. Luckily, we can help with that!
The premium XM6 launched at £400 in May 2025, and although deals have been quite rare, they'll likely become more frequent as we head into Black Friday.

Sony's WH-1000XM6 headphones offer class-leading sound and top-notch noise-cancelling, making them one of the best all-rounders in the business.
They are a solid upgrade from the previous Sony WH-1000XM5, with our Sony WH-1000XM6 review praising their comfort levels and new folding design.
Our expert reviewers also found the XM6 more than delivered when it came to sound quality, with "the most detailed, dynamic, precise and open sound we’ve heard from a wireless Sony flagship. The headphones just seem capable of diving into any track you play and extract an unbelievable amount of information."
Not to be outdone, the XM6 also pack an impressive amount of features, including Bluetooth Multipoint and support for SBC, AAC, LDAC, LC3, LEAudio and Auracast. There's also a solid 30 hours of battery life available with Bluetooth and active noise cancelling (ANC) turned on!
One area the XM6 really shine is noise cancelling, with a new adaptive NC optimiser that delivers natural, sophisticated and subtle noise cancellation wherever you are.
As we said in our review: "They present you with a nice, clean, rumble-free background through which you can listen to music. Low-end and midrange noise are contained exceptionally well, especially as we try to navigate London's underground system."
Call quality is also superb, thanks to a whopping 12 mics and beamforming AI technology that helps remove external noise and concentrate audio on your voice.
If the XM6 still don't fall to your price levels, it might be worth considering the Sony WH-1000XM5, which are excellent headphones that have already seen some hefty drops.
Just be aware that they lack the foldability of the XM6, and, more importantly, their noise cancelling isn't quite as good, and neither is sound quality – you can see a full rundown in our Sony WH-1000XM6 vs WH-1000XM5 comparison page.
Ultimately, though, if your budget can stretch, the Sony WH-1000XM6 deliver arguably the best sound quality, ANC and call quality in their class.
They're an excellent choice – all that's left is to save this page so you can grab the best deal possible.
