It's fitted with Sony's S-AIR wireless rear speaker system, and decodes all the new high-definition audio formats including Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio.
There's support for xv colour and Deep Colour, four HDMI inputs and one HDMI output. You can also use the STR-DH800 to biamplify your speakers, with separate power stages to drive the low frequency and mid/high frequency drivers.
