Can anyone who knows about these two devices help me out,

I want something to connect to a soon-to-be-bought DAC to play internet radio through my hifi and stream music. Would either one of these devices allow me to do that with the computer switched off? If not I can't really see the point of one for me, I may as well just connect my laptop to the DAC. The point of one for me was being able to put internet radio on in a morning without powering up the laptop.

Is there any advantages of the duet over the airport express?

What is the usual price of the Airport Express, I found one here for £38 http://www.google.co.uk/products/catalog?hl=en&q=airport+express&safe=on&um=1&ie=UTF-8&cid=2350499940519298399&ei=wTL0SdylFOXPjAehxujADA&sa=X&oi=product_catalog_result&resnum=5&ct=result#ps-sellers

Squeezebox. It can access radio without a PC (or storage device) - Airport Express cannot.
