Quad 520f

Hi all, just after a bit of advise/opinion. I've just got hold of a Quad 520f power amp.

I've done a bit of research and found they were made for studio use but are similar to hifi amps but with a beefier transformer.

Obviously it's an old bit of kit but not able to try it out because of xlr and speaker connections, so anyone used one, thoughts on sound quality/power etc. How would it compare to my Arcam amps.?

Just curious before it starts costing me cash for cables etc?
