Hi everyone. Smile

I'm a big fan of dubstep but it's hard to find the really good tracks amongst all of the rubbish that's out there. Can anyone recommend some good Dubstep or Drum 'n' Bass tracks that I could try?

Thanks. Cool

I like my D&B really dark, so most things on renegade hardwear lable.  Spor in particular.

If you like Big Bud and Good Looking Records, you should track down "Infinity + Infinity."

I think this is best Good Looking album ever released (and probably my favourite D&B record ever). It's elegant in its simplicity, yet has staggeringly good production values and is utterly hypnotic from start to finish.

Paul, you might like this also. It's not aggressively dark, but there isn't a whiff of cheese on the whole album. For early dark stuff (i.e. late 1992-late 1993), I think there are few Reinforced and Moving Shadow compilations knocking around.

I enjoyed 'Welcome Reality' by Nero, but this may mark me down as a noob or a teeny-bopper.

I'm just in the process of ripping my CD collection & have hit a jungle/D&B section.

A pretty good album that I had forgotten about is Transfer at Dub by The Unknown Ghosts (John Roome & Alex Patterson).

Duly added to my wish list, thanks.

If you like dub, try to get a copy of Guerilla In Dub. Superb early 90's ambient dub, particularly like 'Alchemy' by Drum Club.

I have all five albums. My least favourite is "between Darkness....” My fave tracks are Scratch Bass & Small - both on "What Sound" & both good at getting one's windows rattling! As for Dubstep, I'll have to follow up some of the recommendations - most of what I looked at today excercised my tweeters rather than my interest!

Haven't listened to Darkness and Wonder for a while .... must give it a whirl soon.
