Natty thing the iPhone. Handy for making phone calls, emailing, texting and storing /playing all your digital media.
But now it can even control your home automation systems. And the latest app, from Lutron Electronics, will enable it to control an entire Lutron Homeworks whole-home lighting system. The new app, available on the iTunes App Store for £22.99, can also be used with an iPod Touch.
With the touch of an icon installed on their iPhone/Touch, users gain complete access to their Homeworks system and keypads, wherever they are in the world.
From setting the 'mood lighting' in advance of their return home, to chooosing energy saving, pre-set lighting levels, the user has complete control of their home lighting from a hand-held portable device.
