Denon AH-C551 review

Another well-built, nicely thought-out addition to the headphone hierachy from Denon. Tested at £70.00

Our Verdict

These Denon buds are nicely built and well thought-out

For

  • Well built, good layout, clear labelling

Against

  • Sound can get a tad bright

Another well-built, nicely thought-out addition to the headphone hierachy from Denon.

We'll give a special mention for the most clearly labelled L/R design here (as pictured) plus the extra flexibility offered by their two-part, extendable cable.

They're a comfortable fit, too, bridging the noise-isolation gap between the burrowing and on-ear bud rivals.

They offer a greater range and richness than most rivals, but are a touch bright when pushed, especially with mainstream pop and compressed downloads
