The Apple AirPods Pro wireless earbuds were Apple's first noise-cancelling flagship in-ears, launched back in 2019. They offer a comfortable fit, seamless use with iOS devices and excellent noise-cancelling technology. Plus, with the five-star AirPods Pro 2 newly launched in 2022, now's a great time to score some of the best deals on the original Apple AirPods Pro.

Being premium wireless earbuds, the original AirPods Pro don't come cheap – but that doesn't mean you can't score a big (or small) saving. See below for the latest deals in UK and US.

AirPods Pro  was £249 (opens in new tab)

AirPods Pro was £249 now £199 at Argos (save £50) (opens in new tab)
The original Pro model ushered in ANC, spatial audio, and a new design with ear tips for a better seal and fit. We called them "exceptionally comfortable" and praised their "strong noise-cancelling and balanced, easy-going sound". You can now get them for £50 off the original RRP.

AirPods Pro (1st Gen)  was $249 (opens in new tab)

AirPods Pro (1st Gen) was $249 now $215 at Walmart (save $34) (opens in new tab)
Featuring strong ANC and a nicely balanced sound with midrange clarity and brilliant timing, the first-gen Pro model was a great fit for iOS users in particular. Add in spatial audio and comfortable eartips and these were a competitive premium pair. They're now $34 off the original RRP.

The AirPods Pro are sweat-resistant, a joy to use and – as you'd expect from Apple – offer plenty of cutting-edge tech. Such as? Excellent noise-cancelling, with a transparency mode for safe use in built-up areas – this can let some sound in, so you can hear approaching cars, for example.

When listening to music, the audio quality is superb. We found they offer a clean, neutral sound with balanced bass and good dynamics.

Apple's H1 chip means the Pro support Apple’s voice assistant, Siri, who can also be activated by a pinch on the stems. Battery life is around 4.5 hours but the included case doubles as a portable charger, stretching that figure to an impressive 24 hours. It's yet another reason to buy these extremely well-made and usable headphones.

And with the new AirPods Pro 2nd gen now on sale, you can find the 1st gen Pro on decent deals in both UK and US.
