SHARP LC46XD1 or Sony KDL46W2000 ??

I need some advice. I am looking to purchase a 46 inch LCD 1080p and the two best bets so far seem the LC46XD1 or the KDL46W2000. I have seen both the LCDs in the shops and they both look great. From all the reviews I have read about these LCD tv's, picture quality seems to be quite good between the two. I am not too worried about sound or the connectivity of the LCDs as I intend to purchase an AV receiver, most likely the Sony STRDA5200ES together with a decent sets of speakers (undecided yet). The best price i can find for the Sharp is about £1120 and the best for the Sony is about £1389. Is the sony worth paying and extra £260 for? Am I getting £260 worth of extra quality?

I was also unsure about the compatibilty of the Sharp LC46XD1 with the Sony STRDA5200ES. I did read somewhere ( in the past 2 months of research but not sure where) that there was a compatibilty issue with the STRDA5200ES and the Sharp LC42XD1.Is this true or is the only way to be sure is to connect the recevier to the sharp and to see what happens?
