Smooth, warm sounding cd player needed
English

I am looking for a smooth, warm sounding new cd player without agressive highs. The price should be under 300 gbp., I mean new player, not used.. Any suggestion? Thank you

How much will a Rotel TCD-06 cost you? I guess you could look at that. Another option is an Arcam. But brand new they will cost more.

marantz, I know you said you don't want to buy second hand but you wouldn't go wrong with a cd63ki

Or a Quad 66 - one on ebay for about £250 ATM.

Exactly what you want is the Arcam CD73, but it is £400. The problem is, all the new amps under £400 tend to be quite up-front and bright. Second hand is all I can say - a Quad 66 is a real gem of a disc spinner - two hours left, still £250.

Thank you for advice, I suppose a second hand ARCAM C73 would be good for my tastes. I want to try the NAD C515BEE. I suppose is warm sounding. Isnt it?
