This one seems to be well liked...
... but I haven't had a lot of experience in optical digital cables. I'm still using the one supplied with an old Beresford DAC. It works perfectly.
As short a length as possible and one that doesnt kink, so a nice stiff sheath to keep the bend radius to a minimum.
I'm going to try a short 1m lead again (£2.80 from Amazon) as the current optical cables I have are 3m long. Not sure it's the sole reason why I prefer the sounds over USB, but if it gets it closer then the reduction in mains interference will be welcome.
